We are a danish couple, who are very passionate about everything regarding food and all the good things in life - from when we plant a seed in the vegetable patch till we harvest and transform the produce into a tasty dish. We like to cook old traditional dishes, but we get equally excited when a new dish is created.
We took the big step and moved to Italy in 2010. We are both educated chefs, and back in Copenhagen we operated an Italian restaurant and enoteca for the past 11 years. But we were ready for new adventure - we wanted to be closer to the roots of this fantastic " cucina", that has filled our lives for the past decade. We wanted to be able to pick the best vegetables from the fields, the best meats from the local farm or the forest and to be able to buy that perfect pecorino from the cheese maker in town - so the choice was clear.
We sold the restaurant, found the house and started a new chapter in our lives. Also we wanted to find a platform, from where we could share our joy and the simplicity of the Italian kitchen.
